Location

The South Haven area is a 12 mile by 20 mile corridor located in Southwest Michigan along Interstate 196 on the shores of Lake Michigan. It stretches from Covert Township at the south end to Casco Township on the north end and the City of South Haven on the west end to the city of Gobles on the east end.

South Haven Waterfront  is a quaint port city located on beautiful Lake Michigan with many public parks & beaches. The Michigan Maritime Museum and the Center for the Arts are among the featured attractions. The Black River Harbor offers over 2,000 slips for the transient, seasonal boaters. Dozens of golf courses, the National Blueberry Festival, unique shopping, antique shops, live theater, and arts & crafts fairs add to South Haven's offerings.

Transportation

The Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport and the Gerald R. Ford International Airport are served by many of the major airline carriers. Kalamazoo is 30 miles southeast of South Haven while Grand Rapids is 60 miles Northeast. The South Haven Bus Station is serviced by Greyhound Bus Lines. Air strips for non-commercial planes are located at the South Haven Regional Airport.
